MUSEUM LOCATION AND HOURS:
The National Bonsai & Penjing Museum is located on the grounds of the
U.S. National Arboretum at 3501 New York Avenue N.E. - Washington D.C. 20002.
The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The U.S. National Arboretum is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily. There is no charge for admission to the Arboretum or the Museum.
The Arboretum and the Museum are closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President's Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

19-22 April 2018: The American Bonsai Society, together with the Bonsai Society of Greater St. Louis, present: Gateway to Bonsai – 2018 at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL. Headliners are Bjorn Bjornholm, Marc Noelanders, and Matt Reel. There will be a juried bonsai exhibit with awards and prize money of $1000.00 for Best in Show. Workshops, seminars, critiques, and vendors along with an ikebana display and workshop. Easy access from St Louis airport to the Convention Center with ample parking.
